Reproductive Justice

Discover the Reproductive Justice ministry at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Richmond. We advocate for bodily autonomy, equitable healthcare access, and the fundamental right of all individuals to make their own reproductive choices safely and with dignity.

Defending Bodily Autonomy and Reproductive Freedom for All

At First Unitarian Universalist RVA, our commitment to reproductive justice is deeply rooted in our core belief in the inherent worth of every person and the sacred right to bodily autonomy. We believe that all individuals should have the social, economic, and political power to make healthy, self-determined decisions about their own bodies, genders, and families. Through community education, grassroots advocacy, and strategic partnerships with local reproductive rights organizations, our team actively resists restrictions on reproductive freedom and healthcare access. Join us as we put our faith into action, advocating for a just world where safe, comprehensive healthcare is an accessible reality for everyone.

The Church Hill Planned Parenthood Community Care Pantry is in Need of Donations!

We need your support to help keep it going! You can help Planned Parenthood patients in need by purchasing items from our Amazon wishlist here. All purchases are considered tax deductible donations to Virginia League for Planned Parenthood. Thank you for your consideration and support for your community!

How else to assist and support the protection of reproductive rights in Virginia

1- Talk openly and clearly about your support for ABORTION as a medical procedure. Don’t mince words.
2- Donate money to the Richmond Reproductive Freedom Project Fund or Blue Ridge Abortion Fund for financial assistance for women seeking abortion.
3- Do something sustainable: knit socks for women, write legislators, donate money, make post-abortion care kits (We Do This!!), wear the pro-abortion shirt to the supermarket, etc.
