Harnessing the Power of Love to Fuel Social Justice
At First Unitarian Universalist RVA, we proudly participate in Side with Love, a national Unitarian Universalist public advocacy campaign that harnesses the power of love to dismantle systemic oppression. Rooted in the belief that love is our greatest moral imperative, this initiative mobilizes our congregation to stand alongside communities targeted by hatred, exclusion, and violence. From defending LGBTQIA+ equity and voting rights to confronting racial injustice and climate degradation, Side with Love equips us to speak truth to power and put our faith into bold public action. Join us as we work together to build a world where everyone belongs and all people can thrive.
Side with Love is a public advocacy campaign that seeks to harness love’s power to stop oppression. They are the Organizing Strategy Team of the Unitarian Universalist Association and all are welcome to join. Because we cannot keep on top of ALL. OF. THE.
